bits & bytes mentorship program.
The Bits and Bytes Mentorship Program is run by volunteer undergraduate members of Girls Who Code BU. This program is a free opportunity for local girls in grades 3 - 12 to gain exposure to basic Computer Science and coding principles. By providing girls with positive role models and introducing them to computer science & tech, we hope to empower them to pursue careers in STEM if they choose to!
Bits (for grades 3 - 5) and Bytes (for grades 6 - 12) classes meet once a week via Zoom on Saturdays. We offer a fall and a spring session for this program. The fall session will be help from October 12, 2024 to November 23, 2024.

We are happy to announce the application for Girls Who Code BU members to join our Bits and Bytes teaching team as Facilitators!
Facilitators help with instructing the Bits and Bytes classes that teach 3rd-12th graders how to code. This is a great opportunity to gain both teaching and coding skills while helping the local community!
Applications for the 2024 facilitator cycle are currently closed, but we are accepting applications for students!
